Body
To ensure the Dartmouth community has the latest privacy and security updates Information, Technology and Consulting periodically updates the minimum version required to use Zoom.
Minimum version schedule
ITC will be updating the Zoom client minimum version requirement on a quarterly basis. This will take place in between each academic term.
For example - When Winter 2024 term ends, we will update our version requirement sometime in the two weeks before Spring 2024 term starts.
If you update your Zoom client right before the end of the term, you will see no disruption.
Manual update your Zoom client
- Open your Zoom desktop client app.
- Click on your profile image or initials in the top right.
- Click on Check for Updates in the drop-down menu.
If you are having trouble updating the client, download the latest version and install. This will ensure you have the latest version.
