Body
Zoom Phone has a feature called "auto receptionist" which allows calls to be answered with a personalized recording, and routes calls to a phone user, call queue, common area phone, or voicemail. You can also set up an auto receptionist to route to an interactive voice response (IVR) system to allow callers to select routing options.
Users need to be added to an "auto receptionist administrators" group before they have access to this feature. Once added to this group, a departmental user had the ability to edit their department's auto receptionist and do the following:
- Change business hours for the auto receptionist
- Add holiday hours for auto receptionist
- Re-record greetings for the auto receptionist
- Give users access to voicemail and set forwarding address for voice mail messages
If you are a member of the "auto receptionist administrators" group, go to dartmouth.zoom.us, and click Sign in. Click Phone System Management in the left hand navigation column, then Auto Receptionists. Select the name of the auto receptionist you would then like to edit.
See Changing auto receptionist settings for more information.
