How to move Browser Bookmarks

  • You can switch browsers without losing all your settings and all the bookmarks for your favorite websites. Depending on the browser you used, your settings can include the following information:
    • browsing history
    • default homepage
    • bookmarks
    • default search engines
    • saved passwords
  • Add bookmarks to Chrome
    • On your computer, open Chrome
    • At the top right click on the 3 vertical dots
    • Select Bookmarks > Import Bookmarks and Settings
    • Select the browser that contains the bookmarks you would like to import
    • Click Import and Clikc Done
  • Add favorites to Edge
    • On your computer, open Microsoft Edge
    • At the right click on the 3 horizontal dots
    • Select Favorites and click on 3 horizontal dots for More options.
    • Select Import favorites
    • Select the browsers that contains the bookmarks you would like to import
    • Click Import and Click Done
  • Add bookmarks to Firefox ESR
    • On your computer, open Firefox
    • Click the library button on your browser 
    • Select Bookmarks and select Show All Bookmarks at the bottom
    • Click the Import and Backup button on the toolbar and select Import Data from Another Browser
    • Select the browser that contains the bookmarks you would like to import
    • Click Next, Next, and Click Finish
