Work related email messages that are part of a Dartmouth College email account, are records of the College and should not leave with a departing employee.
Departing staff Employees should gather any personal email they want to keep, into a folder in their email account.
One method to do this is to use Outlook for Windows or MAC. Messages can be dragged from the application to a folder on your desktop. This will keep the file in a file type that can be read by the Outlook application that generated it.
