Troubleshooting Log for Phone Engineers

If you are running GoToConnect Desktop and run into an error, you may be asked to provide a log for troubleshooting. To do this:

  1. Within GoToConnect, click the View menu then Toggle Developer Tools
  2. In the window that appears on the right side of the GoToConnect window, click the Console menu. 
  3. Right click within that window. From the menu that appears, click Save As, then save the file to a location where you can easily access it. 
  4. Click the X in the upper right corner of the window to close the Console window.

If you are using the web interface, to get the log:

  1. Within Chrome, click the ellipsis at the far right of the address bar.
  2. Click More tools then Developer tools.
  3. Click the Console tab, then right click in the window that appears and select Save as.
