Eduroam Installer for Android Devices

Follow these steps to connect to the eduroam wireless network using the configuration assistant tool for Android devices.

Step-by-Step Instructions for geteduroam app

      1. Download geteduroam app from the Google Play Store:
      2. Open app, search for 'Dartmouth College', and click Next:
      3. Enter your netid@dartmouth.edupassword, and click 'Connect to Network':
     4. Setup should automatically complete:

     5. Go to your Wi-Fi settings to ensure that you are connected to eduroam. If not, connect to eduroam.

     6. You must keep the app installed on your phone to stay connected to eduroam.

Step-by-Step Instructions for eduroam CAT app (deprecated)

      1. Go to cat.eduroam.org.
      2. Tap on the button to download the eduroam installer.

      3. Select Dartmouth College from the list of organizations.

      4. Tap on the button to download the installer for Android devices.

      5. Tap Allow on the pop-up that appears.
      6. Go to the Google Play Store and install the eduroam CAT app.

      7. Open the app and deny permission to access your location, if you like. It is not necessary for the installation.
      8. Open the menu in the upper-right corner and tap on Select Config File.

      9. Allow the app to access your files.
    10. The eduroam config file should be at the top of your downloads.
          If you can't find it, you can search for "eduroam". Tap on the config file.

    11. Tap Install.

    12. Enter your NetID@dartmouth.edu as your Username.
    13. Enter your Dartmouth account password and tap on Install.

    14. Go to your Wi-Fi settings to ensure that you are connected to eduroam. If not, connect to eduroam.

    15. You must keep the app installed on your phone to stay connected to eduroam.
