Desktop phone not registering

Issue

User reports that phone is not registering on the network; not showing their phone number; not showing the lines they are supposed to answer.

Environment

Poly Desktop Phone

Cause

Configuration change in PBX not pushed to phone.

Resolution

Unplug the Ethernet cable from the back of the phone, count to 10, then plug it back in.
