OnBase tab missing in Outlook 2016 menu ribbon


After installing Hyland OnBase17 Office2016 Integration, the OnBase tab disappears in the Outlook 2016 menu ribbon. Outlook provides two methods for troubleshooting add-in issues. If both methods don't enable the OnBase tab in the menu ribbon, contact the ITC Service Desk (x62999) to download and install Hyland OnBase17 Office2016 Integration app.


This article applies to Outlook 2016 for Windows


In Outlook 2016, select File tab > Info.

  1. Manage COM Add-ins - from list of Slow and Disabled Add-ins, select Hyland.Office2016.Outlook.addin.
  2. Select Options > Always enable this add-in > Apply.
  3. Quit and restart Outlook.

In Outlook 2016, select File tab > Options > Add-ins.

  1. Select Manage > Disabled Items > Go.
  2. Select Hyland.Office Outlook addin > Enable.
  3. Quit and restart Outlook
