Strengthening Our Digital Community: Annual Cybersecurity Training Launching October 1st

Demonstrating our shared commitment to safeguard the integrity of our academic and research environment, Dartmouth is establishing a required annual cybersecurity training program for all staff and faculty.

Dartmouth College is required to provide cybersecurity training to all employees. Regulations, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), require institutions handling non-public personal information (including student financial aid data) establish and maintain a comprehensive information security program.

This initiative reflects our institutional commitment to protect sensitive data, maintain operational resilience, and strengthen our collective cybersecurity awareness in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

The training will be:

  • Required annually, with a clear completion window

  • Tailored to your roles and responsibilities across the university

  • Delivered online, through an engaging and accessible platform

  • Designed to take approximately 45 - 60 minutes to complete

To access the training please visit https://dartmouth-sans.litmos.com and log in with your Dartmouth SSO Login.
