Why should you use it?

• Storage space
  • note: Google has started charging its customers for storage above a threshold and Dartmouth falls into a group of higher ed institutions that are over the threshold. We are looking at options such as educating end users on records management practices and what is the best storage option for the need.  Peer institutions are also considering charging departments for certain types of storage and/or implementing storage quotas.  Internal discussions at Dartmouth will continue over the next year as we position the institution for this change to Google’s pricing which will go into effect for Dartmouth in July 2024.
